The godfather of all mansions is up for sale on Staten Island.
The palatial former home of “Big Paul” Castellano has an asking price of $16.8 million, according to a posted last week on Zillow.
The Gambino crime boss was assassinated outside a Manhattan steakhouse in 1985 on the orders of rival John Gotti in one of the city’s most mob hits.

Known as the “White House,” the eight-bed, 17-bath property sits on two acres of “pristinely manicured” grounds in the ritzy Todt Hill neighborhood and has an unobstructed view of the Verrazzano Bridge.
The 33,000-square-foot manor has a host of amenities including a gym, sauna, library, home theater, wine cellar, “personal beauty parlor,” solarium, indoor and outdoor Olympic-sized pools, plus a 13-car showroom.

The pair were ambushed by a crew of four wearing matching trench coats and black Russian fur hats.
They were acting on orders from John Gotti, who was parked just a half block away and later drove past the murder scene. The Teflon Don went on to seize control of the Gambino operation before being put behind bars, where he in 2002.

Another Gambino crime family boss, Frank Cali, was shot and killed in outside his Staten Island home, located less than half a mile from Castellano’s mansion.
The Benedict Road house was built in 1980 and last sold in 2000. It’s been the of burglars several times over the years. In 2015, Hillary Clinton held a
